Here is who Dan Hooker and Michael Chandler picked to win Conor McGregor vs. Dustin Poirier at UFC 257

The main event fight was scheduled to be at lightweight, but was changed to a catchweight bout, after Lee failed to make the 156lbs weight limit at the official weigh ins on Friday.

Kevin Lee (18-5 MMA) entered last nights event at UFC Brasilia with some momentum behind him, after his 1st-round knockout victory over Gregor Gillespie in his last fight at UFC 244. That win ended a 2-fight losing streak for the “Motown Phenom”, who had lost to Al Iaquinta and Rafael dos Anjos prior.

Meanwhile, Charles Oliveira (28-8 MMA) entered the fight on an impressive a 6-fight winning streak. He beat Jared Gordon via knockout in his last fight in November.

In the co-main event, welterweight fighters Demian Maia and Gilbert Burns were looking to put on a show for fans watching at home, after the event was converted to a closed-door event, meaning that there were no fans in attendance.

Maia (28-9 MMA) entered last nights co-main event on a 3-fight winning streak, with his latest being a submission win over Ben Askren last October.

Meanwhile, Gilbert Burns (17-3 MMA), also known as “Durinho”, was on a 4-fight winning streak, with a decision victory over Gunnar Nelson in his last outing in September. He planned to finish Maia and call out Colby Covington afterwards.
