UFC bantamweight Sean O’Malley made his UFC return at last weekend’s UFC 248 event, scoring a TKO victory over Jose Quinonez.
Sean O’Malley is undefeated in professional MMA with a record of 11-0. He had not competed inside the Octagon since UFC 222 in March of 2018, due to issues with USADA. O’Malley failed a drug test, because of a banned substance in his system, prior to his scheduled bout at UFC 229. The failed drugs test was later attributed to a contaminated supplement.
After clearing his name and putting his USADA issues behind him, O’Malley returned at UFC 248 against Jose Quinonez and looked like he had never left. The undefeated 25 year old finished his opponent via TKO in the very 1st-round.
Following his victory inside the Octagon, O’Malley took to Twitter, where he threw an insult at the reigning UFC bantamweight champion, Henry Cejudo. See what O’Malley wrote to Cejudo below:
“I don’t know if it’s true but I heard Cejudo peed his pants a little during my fight. Lolz.”
Henry Cejudo hasn’t responded to the undefeated bantamweight prospect, but if there is hype, rest assured that “Triple C” will be there, so we can expect a response soon. O’Malley was recently praised by UFC president Dana White for being an exciting fighter. White also stated that he hopes to get O’Malley a quick turnaround fight following his win at UFC 248.
