High profile UFC fighter Jorge Masvidal just fired shots at UFC Welterweight champion Kamaru Usman for making threats to his manager Abe Kawa on Twitter.
Kamaru Usman and Jorge Masvidal scheduled to meet at International Fight Week in Las Vegas in July, 2020. The contract hasn’t been signed yet, but is expected to be a done-deal in the coming months.
On Twitter, a fan said touted that Masvidal does not want to fight Usman. His manager, Abe Kawa responded, assuring the fan that of course Masvidal wants to get in the Octagon against Usman. Kawa also suggested that Usman would be beaten badly by Masvidal, a comment which made Usman respond aggressively.
See what Usman said to Kawa on Twitter, and what Masvidal responded with below:
“Keep talking sh*t Abe and you already know it’s gonna be #SlapTeam part 2. And you know what the f*ck I’m talking about”
“Shut the f*ck up you beta b*tch. You address civilians like that? You won’t touch anyone I’m cool with. Sign the contract already and I’ll see you in July. Stfu until then”
The two rivals are the best Welterweights in the world at the moment and when they meet in the Octagon, we can surely expect one of the biggest blockbuster pay-per-view events of the year.
Jorge Masvidal is 3-fight winning streak with 3 straight stoppage wins over Nate Diaz, Ben Askren, and Darren Till in 2019. These consecutive wins have catapulted him into MMA world’s superstardom.
Kamaru Usman remains undefeated in the Octagon and is coming off of a thrilling fight against Colby Covington, in which he secured a 5th-round TKO stoppage. The two men have not stopped talking trash ever since UFC president Dana White announced that they would be fighting each other next. All they have to do now is agree on terms and sign the contract.
