In an interview in December 2016, Jones admitted he had run from the scene of the accident and had not checked on the occupant of the other vehicle.
In 2019, Jones was also arrested and charged with battery. The incident involved a cocktail waitress at TD’s Eubank Showclub in Albuquerque. Jones allegedly slapped her and put her in a chokehold, as well as sexually assaulted her.
In a recent interview with Tim Kennedy, he revealed that he could smell “booze and marijuana” on Jones in training.
Jon Jones recently defended his belt against Dominick Reyes at UFC 248 in February of this year. Jones won the fight via unanimous decision, however many fans and pundits believed that Dominick Reyes was “robbed”.
In fact, the stats for total significant strikes landed were in favor of Reyes.
UFC president Dana White has confirmed that he believes Reyes deserves a rematch against Jon Jones and the fight was reportedly in the works.
